Jonny Lovelle is a singer-songwriter from Ypsilanti Michigan. Having two creative parents, he found music to be his creative outlet from a young age. Writing songs and playing the drums as early as six for his grandmothers church choir, he very soon found that the stage is where he belonged. After bouncing from band to band as early as the 4th grade, he found love for guitar in jazz band club in the 7th grade.
Jonny’s performance experience dates back to kindergarten Christmas plays. Funny enough, Jonny’s first self-booked show was at a poetry slam that was being held at a McDonalds. He was around 17 at the time.
In 2020 Jonny released music with his first official band ‘Justokay’. Their songs were played on college radio and their single ‘Monday’ was featured in a student film in Arizona.
Currently at age 24 (2026) Jonny has released several singles, eps, and a studio album. All accruing over 11,000 streams worldwide. Jonny has been featured on hundreds of shows and has headlined several of his own shows as well. He has cofounded a performance collective called ‘Sadurnalia’, and has started a new band project called ‘Soft Tissue’. He intends on completely blending his hip hip/ folk/ alternative rock sound with his bands jazz fusion/ psychedelic rock sound; starting a whole new era.
